Your Violations

If your HOA board issues a violation for your home, you'll see it in one place — no paper letters to dig through. Open My Violations in the sidebar to view them.

Finding Your Violations

Click My Violations in the sidebar. You'll see a list with each violation's title, category, status, any fine, and the date it was issued. Click a row to open the full details, including the description and any photos the board attached.

Note: You'll also get an email when a violation is first issued for your home and again when the board marks it resolved, so you don't have to keep checking back.

What the Statuses Mean

Issued

The board has logged the violation and notified you.

Acknowledged

Set automatically the first time you open the violation — it lets the board know you've seen it.

Resolved

The board has confirmed the issue is fixed. Nothing more is needed.

Fines

If a violation includes a fine, you'll see the amount and whether it's marked Paid or Unpaid.

Note: You can't pay a fine inside NeighborBase. Pay through whatever method your HOA uses, then the board will mark it paid. If you're not sure how to pay, reach out to your board.

Questions About a Violation

If you think a violation was issued in error, or you have questions, open it and add a comment — it goes straight to your board. They'll reply on the same violation so the whole conversation stays in one place. Internal board notes are never shown to you; you only see comments meant for you.
