Tracking & Replying to Requests

Once you've submitted a request, you can follow its progress and stay in the conversation — all from your portal.

Finding Your Requests

Click My Requests in the sidebar to open your inbox. Your requests are listed on the left, each showing its status, title, the latest update, and category. Use the All, Active, and Resolvedtabs to narrow the list. A blue dot marks any request with new activity you haven't seen yet.

Click any request to open the full conversation on the right, where you can read every update and add a reply — all without leaving the page.

Understanding Request Statuses

Each request has a status badge showing where things stand:

Open

Your request has been received and is waiting for the board to review it.

In Progress

The board is actively working on your request. You may receive updates along the way.

Resolved

The board has resolved your request. You'll receive an email when this happens. You can still reply — if you do, the request automatically reopens.

Replying to Board Updates

When the board posts an update on your request, you'll receive an email. To reply:

  1. Select your request from the list in My Requests
  2. Use the reply box at the bottom of the conversation on the right
  3. Type your message and click Send message

Your reply notifies the board so they can follow up. If a request is Resolved, you can still reply — it will automatically reopen so the board knows there's more to address.

Email Notifications

NeighborBase sends you an email when:

  • The board posts a public reply on your request
  • Your request is marked as Resolved

You can turn off individual notification types from your Account settings.

Tip: If you're not seeing emails from NeighborBase, check your spam folder. Emails come from notifications@neighborbaseapp.com — add it to your contacts to ensure reliable delivery.
